This poem, a tribute to Leonard Cohen written just prior to his death, was published in early 2017 in Issue #3 of The Cut-Up as part of a special section in tribute to artists who passed in 2016.
Here are a few examples of the art work I create. The medium used for the drawings is black marker on paper. The medium for poems is manual typewriter on parchment. I also create mixed media pieces using acrylic paint, paper, and marker.

I previously hosted Second Wednesday Open Mic at Best Video in Hamden, CT and Third Thursday Open Mic at New England Brewing Company in Woodbridge, CT. I often read my poetry at these events as well. Both events are no longer scheduled.

The Word According to KP was a bi-weekly show on Sundays at 10 AM on CygnusRadio.com featuring poetry, spoken word, and lyrically driven songs as well as the people who are involved in writing and performing them. The show is currently on hiatus.
